It's New Years eve. It's about six hours for me until 2015, as of this second in time, this one moment, I am in 2014, December 31, 5:55 (I said about, okay?) getting the house ready to have my parents friends and their (sorry, but...) annoying daughter over. She's like, 8 and while I don't mind children, I am not her fan. This is not how I want to end this year, and start my next year. I don't know how I wanted to exactly; probably draw while watching some tv with my parents, play video games with my brother, set off some fireworks at midnight then watch anime and read an awesome book until I go to sleep. Doing all of my favorite things. I would also love to have a New Years sleepover with some friends some year of my life. Anyways, lemme see..... 2014.
Awesome movies that came out: how to train your dragon 2, guardians of the Galaxy, teenage mutant ninja turtles, the maze runner, the amazing Spider-Man 2, captain America the winter soldier, xmen days of future past, hobbit part 3, big hero 6, mockingjay part 1... I think that's all; sorry if it isn't.
I don't read books as they come out unless it's a really special one, so, here's awesome books I READ this year: the entire chaos walking series starting with the knife of never letting go, blood of Olympus finishing the heroes of Olympus series, re-read one of my favorites legend and read prodigy it's sequel, re-read isle of swords and isle of fire, both of which awesome books by one of my favorite authors, fifth grave past the light, throne of glass and I'm currently reading cinder and I bought young elites yesterday..... I think that's about it, though I might be missing some... Oh! Book theif! I'm sure there are others....
Notable events (in my life- I don't exactly keep up with world events, sorry!): St. Louis -the best time I went, wood in fuel, church camp, befriending the church intern, avengers 2 and StarWars 7 trailers, treasures, titles, release dates ect., awesome well, everything from hottopic, and I'm sure I spent at least a thousand dollars there over just this year, I covered my walls in superhero and supernatural posters so my walls have actual things on them for the first time in my life, I got to re-befriend an awesome friend from like, 7th grade and my japanese tutor moved to Japan. I think that's about it. My year in three paragraphs (books and movies are DEFINITELY my year). Weird that it can be summed up like that. Oh! I also turned fifteen and my cousin got married!
Wow. Other than avengers 2 and StarWars 7, going to disney and turning 16, I honestly don't know what 2015 is going to be. Hopefully not like tonight, and more like I wish tonight were going to be.

im actually here today!
Hi. I've been a bit...... Absent lately. So, first it was before Christmas and I was... Doing homework... And in all reality, watching tv and reading. I got two books at Barnes and noble a little while ago, throne of glass (glass was covered when. My brother saw it and he thought it would be throne of glory, which he said sounded cooler and made more sense) and cinder. I just finished throne of glass yesterday, and started reading cinder about five minutes later... Okay, like, three... Two... One... Immediately. I finished it and then me and my mom went shopping and I could get some reading done on the car, okay? I'll hopefully be reviewing it soon (liked the story, but....... URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and after Christmas my time has been divided between playing wii-u and reading. Yesterday at the store I got some stuff including legend of Zelda: wind waked for wii-u, so that trend will continue. I also got some disney Princess ornaments to make a wreath for my door. Which will stay up all year, not just Christmas. Boo-yah! Cause disney. I'll take some pictures of it when it's done. I also have to take pictures of my longboard, but we just ordered trucks, so, I guess when they're on. I also got an avengers blanket that came in a captain America/iron man tote bag! Some girls have designer bags, I have superhero. Anyways, that's what's been up. Tomorrow, I will be going to the mall and watching unbroken (I will review that also) and then my home group friends from when I was younger will be coming over. Yay! :-)
After that it's gonna be New Years eve, I think... Wow.... Goodbye 2014. But, not yet. Time to end his year with a bang!
Geek out!

Everything wrong with the fault in our stars
Uh... I've been busy, playing wii-u and falling in love with a certain book character from throne of glass. Lemme give you a hint; he's a prince. I also might have to make a post stating why he is so amazing and I love him. I also might need to see a psychologist about how often I fall in love with fictional characters. It's a problem. Here's a CinemaSins about a fictional character I am NOT in love with (mostly cause I'm still convinced he's a serial character)...

twas the night before Christmas
'Twas the night before Christmas, and Raven was sorry!
She didn't have any anecdotes to tell her reads with eyes so starry (just go with it)
She first went to church
Then her non-blood brother gave her some merch
After hanging a supernatural poster on her wall
She wished a merry Christmas to all
(Yeah, it kinda sucks, but whatever. Merry Christmas Eve people!)

review; the hobbit: a battle of five armies
Just saw the hobbit. And while I can say I love middle earth, I may not love all of it (yeah, I did just use the first line of the hobbit as the nerdiest opening ever) so, here's a late night review (by late I mean like not even late).
Plot: oh no! Smaug is destroying Laketown! Until a couple minutes later when Bard shoot big bad (this isn't a spoiler; it happens in the first ten minutes /exaggeration was used/ and come on, is ANYONE expecting Smaug to win?) and he comes tumbling down. Anywho, then Thorin goes and reclaims his kingdom under the mountain, searching tireless (and psychotic) -Ly for the arkenstone. Becoming treasure obsessed he turns his back on the people of Laketown who are in need and then came the elves, wanting their share of the treasure and hoo, buddy, if he was unwilling to share with the race of men, who helped him then the elves have something else coming. Peace or treasury? He chooses treasure, glittering gold to be splattered with blood. The elves, men and dwarves (all thirteen! Okay, Thorins cousin /played by meridas dad from brave/ comes too, but still) start fighting but then everything goes wrong (it was going perfect beforehand, obviously!) when the orcs come. And then the fun starts. *HALFWAY POINT, SPOILER TERRITORY AHEAD! TRAVELERS BEWARE* Thorin, by now obviously corrupt by the arkenstone, has not only bilbo, but his thirteen loyal dwarves trying to tell him to Stop being such a douche pants about his stupid treasure. They stage a much needed intervention, telling him they can get him counseling and help him get through it (no, not really, but ya know), and he eventually changes his mind. He decides to fight the orcs too, and the go into battle. Thorin, Fili, and Kili go to "cut the head off the snake" and find out, crap, it's a trap! (Unintentional rhyme, sorry). Tauriel and Legolas's go to help Thorin (and others, for different reasons), but it's too late. Fili is a goner. Sad. Then Tauriel starts fighting orc, hopelessly looking for a Kili, who then dies and she attacks his attacker who Legolas eventually kills. Thorin fights Azog and they both are bested, breaking the line of durin. The Eagles come and I guess the wars over (I was seriously confused when that happened) everyone celebrates and mourns and Bilbo returns home just in time for the beginning of lord of the rings! (Seriously; they did it like that. If was cool, but weird and..... Mostly weird)
Thoughts: huh, well.... First off, the Smaug part felt seriously weird. TWO movies at TWO hours BOTH leading up to a villian defeated in about TWENTY minutes? When Smaug fell I joked to my mom that it was a really good movie, kinda short though. I knew that wasn't the end, but it felt a bit... Eh, for lack of another word, weird, as used for the fourth time in the past couple sentences. My biggest problem was that it didn't have enough closure. Thorins treasure obsession? Dealt with too easily. War? Just kinda finished without showing you. It's over without too much explaination. And then there's all the characters who aren't in the LotR. They're not much explaination of what happens to them. Like, did they just be like "that was fun" and go back to their lives? Laketown people? Tauriel? Dwarves under the mountain? If you read the books (which I haven't read the hobbit in at least two years, I'm going to reread it soon, though) you know what happens to some, but Tauriel was completely made up, so we get no closure there, and also, it would be nice to get some movie closure for characters even if their closure was in the books. Othere than those things, it just seemed a bit... Awkwardly put together. Super huge villian? Destroyed too easily, to stuff in the whole army which ends too easily and the sickness of the mind was thrown in to have an awkward part that doesn't fit in super well. It seemed a bit like a puzzle forced to fit together instead of doing it naturally. Also, the endings where a little too... Loose.
Rating: 3/5. It was an awesome middle earth fantasy with cool action, great quotes and amazing characters even if it didn't live up to my opinions of middle earth.

super-Christmas break
Two hours until my Christmas break begins. Two. Hours. Wow. Plus, less than a week until Christmas! Can you hear that excited buzz? The one that connects everyone on the planet (a bit too much chaos walking series ;) That is the oncoming Christmas (I was so tempted to write oncoming storm). Sadly I won't be seeing a battle of five armies; hobbit, the until Sunday. *sigh* my friend from fuel said he had only a half day yesterday and no school today so he was going over to his friends house to watch both the hobbit movies and then going to see it. So. Freakin. Jealous. I guess I could do that Sunday, but it feels like copying. Even if I have totally been watching the hobbit movies this whole month just waiting. Humph.
Anyways, today I also have chem club where we'll be making I think snow globes. We made ornaments in chemistry, so I'll have lots of christmas-y things. I'm excited. I'm also just excited to not have school. I'm pretty sure I'm two school days away from either a mental breakdown or a fight. Or both. Anyways, I'm excited. Plus, my Braski who's actually by blood (also refered to as my onisan, older brother and Phoenix) (I also usually refer to people as bro, Braski ect. So by blood was required) is getting TMNT and I'm like 80% sure I'm getting guardians of the Galaxy so we'll probs watch those Christmas night and we're getting a wii-u, so yay! And that's only three presents under the tree. I'm not greedy, but I think this Christmas is going to be good.
In other news, because I only have a rocket raccoon shirt with green on it and no other Christmas stuff (even though I LOVE Christmas. I do technically have a Olaf "some people are worth melting for" shirt but I wore it Wednesday and me and hobbit/fuel Braski talked about how some people are worth melting for and some people are worth letting them melt) I'm wearing a rocket raccoon tshirt and a red leather jacket and the people at lunch said it was a star lord jacket, so I'm wearing a rocket raccoon t with a star lord jacket. I also now wanna cosplay as a female star lord. Cause, I'm sooo star lord.*sarcasm* Well, sorta. *that wasn't sarcastic* I think I'm more the kid of female Ton and Steve (in an alternate universe ironman is a girl and marries Steve Rogers. There's a lotta wierd alternate universes out there, but I love that universe because I don't do gay ships but I would totally love them together if ones female!!!!!! The others still a dude though, don't worry). Seriously, in that universe where they're together I'd sooo be their daughter. That'd be awesome. Or maybe (just maybe) scarlet witch. Mentally unstable? Super close to an overprotective brother? Check and boom check-a-leck-a.
Anyways, that's my life. Yours?

Hobbit parts 1&2 first and last lines
Since the amazing hobbit part 3, a battle of five armies is coming out today, I'm going to do a post with the first and last line of each movie and the main characters' first and last lines. Sorry if autocorrect doesn't like their names! Also, there's a lot of people, I can't do all. Sorry! Ready? Lego.
An unexpected journey:
F- My dear frodo, You asked me one once if I had told you everything there was to know about my adventures. And while I can honestly say I have told you the truth, I may not have told you all of it.
L-
Desolation of smaug:
L- what have we done?
Bilbo:
F- My dear frodo, You asked me one once if I had told you everything there was to know about my adventures. And while I can honestly say I have told you the truth, I may not have told you all of it.
L- what have we done?
Thorin:
F- Balin, sound the alarm. Call out the guard. Do it now
L- this is not your kingdom. These are dwarf lands. This is dwarf gold. And we will have our revenge!
Kili:
F- And Kili. At your service. You must be Mr. Boggins
L- do you think she could've loved me?
Gandalf:
F- What do you mean? Do you mean to wish me a good morning, or do you mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not? Or, perhaps you mean to say that you feel good on this particular morning. Or are you simply stating that this is a morning to be good on?
L- Sauron
Tauriel:
F- if you think I'm going to give you a weapon, dwarf, you are mistaken
L- lie still
Legolas:
F- do not think I would not kill you dwarf. It would be my pleasure.
L- it is not our fight
Lady Galadriel:
F- Mithrandir. It has been a long time.
L- “Ae boe i le eliathon, im tulithon.” - [translated: ‘If you should ever need my help, I will come]
Balin:
F- What is it?
L- come on!
Radagast:
F- Not good; not good at all.
L- wait, gandalf! What if it's a trap?
Smaug:
F- well thief... I smell you. I hear your breath. I feel your air. Where are you! Where are you?!
L- I am fire! I am death.
If you think I have no life looking all those up, think of all the people who watched the movie enough to write them all down. Boom. That actually sounds kinda fun....

Why Bilbo is one of the greats
Since the hobbit part 3: a battle of five armies comes out TOMORROW (I can't see it til like Friday :/) I'm gonna do a very special post; reasons why Bilbo is one of the best heroes ever. One of, not the though. Anywho....
1: he reads
Seriously. Good heroes are heroic; great heroes are nerds.
2: he stands up to death.
In dragon form, of course. But ya know... Semantics. I think. Depends on what semantics means. Smaaug even says "I am fire... I am... Death"
3: swords are named for the great deeds they do in battle, and he gets to name a sword.
It is NOT a letter opener.
4: hes a quick thinker.
The dwarves a little less so. From trolls to dragons, bilbo knows just what to say. I betcha #1 helped him with that.
5: courage
the whole courage of little things by gandalf and hobbits still surprising a couple hundred (or thousand) year old dwarf
Boom.
Now, if you'll excuse me.....
Sorry, had to ;)

nerd squea
So, I haven't had a real post in a good long while. This wierd thing called "life" keeps interrupting me. Dang it life. Rude! Anyways, I have some major updates/stuff I really have been excited about. Here we go!
1: 11 days til Christmas. Boom baby. Time for toys and time for cheer. And of course, little baby Jesus. I Love Christmas and I love Mary and I love Jesus, but geez must it have sucked to be pregnant at like, 15, unmarried and traveling. Dunno 'bout you, but when I'm married and having kids (well, if. I'd still have to find a guy to marry and I'm such a tomboy-nerd I think that's going to be heck-a hard) I'm going to wanna sit on a couch and eat chocolate all day, not travel a couple hundred miles on foot (donkeys carry stuff not people) and have a kid in a gross barn. But then there's cows and sheep to pet there but none in real hospitals, so I guess Mary did get some good stuff.
2: 3 days til the hobbit. Part three. Battle of five armies. Is your inner nerd squealing? Is your nerd even inner if you're reading this blog?!?!
3: Christmas cookie party was a blast, although we had some technical difficulty with the sugar cookies (I don't know either)
4: two words, every nerd girl/female gamers dream- new system. I haven't gotten a wii-u yet and I was going shopping for my brothers present (despite already getting him a manga) and my mom suggested I get him a video game and I said that the selection would be a lot bigger if we got a ps4, wii-u or 3DS. She said well.... It'd be pointless to get you a wii-u if no one gave anyone games for the wii-u. Hyrule warriors was 15% off. Nother inner (or, more likely outer) nerd squea.

life
Wow, I finally have a free second to breathe! Done with my japanese for the week, and (mostly) caught up on homework. I have a little history, but the books like 20000000000000 pounds so I don't wanna get it out quite yet (okay, like 10-20, but whatever). I feel like I need to catch you up to my life. Ooh boy, it's been way more life like and waaaayyyy less... My life-life. It'll take some getting used to, but I will survive (or die trying). I had to clean my room Saturday and Sunday and buy presents for my friends and yeah. Sorry! Robotics was fun Monday and Tuesday. Time consuming, and we aren't even working on the robot yet! We don't have this years challenge so we're building a cart to get a feel for the equipment and metals shop. The people there are nice and fun to hangout with, and it's pretty nice to hangout with people who basically say out loud the jokes I said in my head or get the obscure references I spew out every fifteen seconds.
Yesterday I went to woodshop for fuel and I started on a bowl. Oddly enough, I didn't have time to finish it, but I have it next week. I'm still 1/2 of the entire female population there and the next one (who's also 1/3 of the people I've said more than five words to there) isn't going to be there next week. I also, along with a bowl for my Mimi (grandma; そぼ) I wanna make my mom a bangle. I also totally got to talk to my crush (sorry, this might get kinda girly cause well... Emotions. Ew) and it was really nice. Seriously, it's awesome to have conversations about doctor who and Naruto (I was wearing my t with their head but no facial features, the Um.... Distinguishing features on their face| I think I can find it in my heart to forgive him for a- knowing who Gaara is but not his name, b- not knowing katashi's name but knowing he's the sensei and c- getting itachi and sasuke mixed up on a tshirt without their eyes, noses or mouths or anything. Itachi has the hesdband and Lines by his eyes, sasuke just has black hair btw). So I definantly had fun.
Tonight I have an orchestra concert. Whoo. I also have to make cookie dough for Friday, my annual Christmas cookie party after Chem club. See? Busy week. But so worth it. And now, as a special treat, my friend July wrote a poem and stuff in English that inspired me. Here's hers; basically they had to look at the title of a poem and write a poem based off the title before reading the poem, and I was inspired to write one, based off her poem title. Here's mine (make fun of me for it and die; criticism excepted, just plain old boring hate from a pms-ing cat person isn't) :A man I used to know

There was a man I used to know
And get excited when I saw him
Heart flutters when he talked
And feel like time would stop
There was a man I used to know
And I got less excited
my heart stopped fluttering
And time moved on
There was a man I used to know
And I knew him less
Or maybe too well
And everything seemed to change
There was a man I used to know
And then I didn't
Because he wasn't him
And I wasn't me

explanations
Okay, so yesterday was by far by busiest day yet this year (and that's saying a lot). So, anyways, first; school. And I had so much homework (and then I forgot 'bout you guys and read my book.... Sorry sorry sorry!!!) I didn't get to blog during 5th hour japanese, then after school I had history test corrections, and then I got straight into my (moms) car and (she) drove me to japanese tutoring, I got home and had fifteen minutes to make and eat dinner and then I went to fuel, and then I got home, watched a show with my parents (I do it every night. I'm a nerd...) showered and did math homework till 11, went to go to sleep and realised I still hadn't posted, so I quickly apologied with a very tired vocabulary and autocorrect (yeah, that's what happened) and tonight, while I do not have an official robotics meeting, there's a "camp" for the build team to go to from 5-6:30, and it's not even Friday get. I totally deserve to go to a spa on Saturday. If I felt a need to walk around in a robe looking like an idiot by a bunch of creepy strangers that is. But my point being, if I don't relax Saturday I will got crazy. Why not Friday? Cause I'm going to a winter daddy-daughter ball, held annually. Whoo. Dresses and dancing (case you can't tell that was sarcasm). But they have a chocolate fountain so, YAY!!!!! I totally need it.

Honest Trailers: the little mermaid
Sorry for all the inappropriate crap, and yada yada, but I really love love this honest trailer, because while I love disney, Ariel is my least favorite disney Princess. I really am not a big fan of her. Sorry.if you're on the mobile version, click here.

Japanese Princess names
Hey! So, it is finally December. Which is awesome. I absolutely love December. Time to curl up in a blanket with a good book or watching a good show/movie/anime and drinking hot coco (with either a candy cane or creamer in it, but preferable not both. Well, I dunno, I've never tried it). I also love the snow. Playing in it is the best. Plus, of course, Christmas and lots and lots of Christmas decorations. But anywho, when I was in Japanese I decided to try and practice my katakana, and I wrote all the Disney princess (and prince) names in Japanese. They're pretty cool, wanna see?

Both of them. Cool, right? My favorite princesses are ラプンゼリと ベレと メリダと ムランと ジャズミンです。I also like チアナと アナ (and エリサ but エリサ isn't technically a princess) but the ones above are my favorite. と means and by the way.
