It's high time for the new popularity contest. Oh, wait I mean "School election". Ha, as if!!! According to the teachers "It's not a popularity contest. Don't just vote for the popular kid or your friend. Vote for who you want to vote for. Don't just run as a joke. Only run if you're serious and in the best interest of our school". Yeah, that didn't happen. We got the forms Friday, and the campaign week began today. In first hour, the first class of the day, before everything is even finished, there are two groups running soley for popularness. Even if they claim they aren't, they're the populars, so it's going to turn into that. I mean, it's kinda stupid. Teachers are blind to it, but it is a popularity contest no matter how you slice it. The only serious people running are the non-populars. And, other than fellow nobodies, who's going to vote for them? I mean, people use your small, disfunctional, stupid, little heads! (Although most of the runners have big heads ;-p!!!!) Of course it's going to be the popular somebodies who rule the school as president every year. The populars voices get heard, while us nobodies are ignored. That's not ever going to change. Like everything, it's a fact. The usual. If you know differently I envy you and your fantasy world. Of course it's happening like this. It IS a popularity contest and the populars will always rule the school.
